Healing Metaphors A-Z - Ear Infections

Ear Infections
An ear infection is usually a bacterial infection, which occurs within the ear. Any infection within the body is a war zone. It is a place where we are resisting a call for change and are getting into a fight instead. The physical symptoms of an infection in the ear are the pain of inflammation and often some hearing loss. Inflammation speaks of something we are angry and inflamed about, indicating something that we don’t want to hear and are fighting against. If our right ear is infected then there is something we are fighting against hearing in business, our career or connected with our father, husband or male partner. If the problem is in our left ear, then there is something we are fighting against hearing in our relationships, about our mother, or partner.
