Trainers' Training 2019

Feb. 13, 2019

"Now repeat after me, 'I am an incredibly powerful salesperson, climbing higher and higher up the ladder of success.'"--Mr. Busta.

Even though the 10-day 2019 Psychology of Vision Trainers' Training has already taken place and the annual event ended over two weeks ago as of today (Feb. 13, 2019), the POV webpages remain pretty much not updated. But we think we can make some accurate notes based on other sources.

This is a meeting that is required of all POV trainers. In addition to paying a very pricey yearly "license fee" of thousands of dollars the trainers are expected to foot their own bill for travel and lodging. The Spezzanos easily grossed about 100 grand at this 2019 soirée by my estimation. Only the affluent need apply to be a POV trainer. Paycheck-to-paycheck wage slaves will find POV to be an expensive and beyond-their-reach cult to join. In Psychology of Vision in order to pray you have to pay-- or should I say in order to prey you have to pay so you can shift from POV victim to fellow culprit as you climb the corporate ladder and recruit more gullible and/or vulnerable people.

This is basically a New Age style board meeting for the serious POV franchise holders who reside near the top of the POV steep pyramid scheme organizational chart. The trainers are distributors and merchandisers who help enable the for-profit corporation known as Spezzano and Associates Ltd.

According to the Trainers Manual, they are expected to provide free labor and support whenever the Spezzanos show up in their territory.

It seems they lost two veteran trainers (Krystal Hsu and Ian Lai both from Taiwan) and gained three, giving their numbers a net gain of one bringing the total number of POV trainers to 19. Just a few years ago they had more than double that number. Around 15 years ago they had around 80 trainers.

As usual, the POV trainers spent their evenings soaked in booze. Conspicuous and copious consumption of beer, wine, and spirits has been a huge part of POV culture across the globe. If your healing program includes any issues with alcohol, which it does for a large percentage of those with family problems, then Psychology of Vision will not be a safe place for you.

We don't know if the following factoid is an indicator of financial distress or something else, but we note this annual event was held at the Spezzano compound itself rather than the long-time usual hoity hotel on another island. That is interesting.
