Psychology of Vision has lost over half of their trainers in the last four years, two of them being "Master Trainer" Jeff Allen along with his POV trainer wife, Sue. In the case of the Allens we see an example of the students outclassing their teachers and mentors, Chuck and Lency Spezzano.
The Allen's VisionWorks for Life is basically a ripoff of the for-profit corporation Psychology of Vision, which in turn is basically a ripoff of ACIM, Oneness University, Louise Hay, Susan Campbell, Bob Trask, Lifespring, hypnotherapy, large group awareness training, Bert Hellinger, and other self-help/human potential or New Age fads as well as cultural appropriation and Anglicization of various aboriginal spiritual beliefs. It is rare to find anyone in POV or VisionWorks, including the Spezzanos or Allens, who is actually academically qualified to act or be licensed as a "psychologist" by USA APA standards.
VisionWorks has a series of "Steps to" programs: Steps to Leadership, Steps to Conscious Parenting, Steps to Conscious Business, First Steps, and the online eSteps to Leadership. Lency Spezzano's "joining" method has been considered one of the essential "steps" in STL. Also, like POV [e.g. the "POV Triangle"], all the thinking is very linear and constrictive.
Instead of "trainers," the authorized franchise holders in the Steps programs are called "facilitators."
As of this writing the number of franchise holders in the STL universe far outnumbers the trainer/victims in the Spezzano corporation who were gullible enough to invest in that lemon. Several former POV trainers and clients have migrated to VisionWorks at one time or another.
Many of the German-speaking facilitators have been covered on this blog as well as in the New Age Frauds and Plastic Shamans Forum. Simply type their names in the "Search this blog" box to find more information on the individual facilitators to see if they have been mentioned here.
One wonders if there is still some kind of financial connection between POV and VisionWorks and if so how are the profits distributed?
It should be noted that since this post was originally composed, STL has lost a considerable number of facilitators.
