Channeler Lee Harris calls Chuck Spezzano a "psychologist"
Sept. 28, 2021
Lee Harris, once a student of Chuck Spezzano, has certainly eclipsed his mentor in the world of spiritual capitalism. Harris' Youtube profile self-describes as--
Lee Harris began doing intuitive readings out of his home in England, 2004, as a part-time healer. Now based in California, he has built his company, Lee Harris Energy (LHE), into the multi-media, worldwide event company and production house it is today. Leading a ten-member international team, Lee is passionate about grounding creative spirituality into these challenging times. He is also determined to see people experience impactful and abundant lives while supporting each other through community.
Leading a vibrant online community, Lee reaches hundreds of thousands of people every month. His monthly Energy Updates are wildly popular and offer practical guidance for navigating daily life with clarity, empowerment, and optimism. His acclaimed Soul Magic and Energy Mastery retreats, held around the globe, are adventures into the deepest aspects of living, loving, and awakening.
Harris recently gave an interview with the online Inspire Nation Show with Michael Sandler. In the course of the discussion he describes an experience at a POV event with Spezzano ca2004 that is quite interesting on many levels--
LH: So I was lucky enough to discover all of these workshops called "Psychology of Vision" in the UK. And I think I was 23 when I went to my first one, I was 23 or 24. So I had already begun channeling at that point but it was very private and it wasn't anything I thought I'd ever do publicly or for a living. I didn't even know that could, like, become a thing.
MS: And that started first with dowsing , I believe.
LH: It did. The dowsing led into it. But, what happened, this workshop with Chuck. Chuck Spezzano, a psychologist, but a deep intuitive, he and his wife Lency would run these workshops and they had trainers who would run these workshops too all around the world. And at one that he did in London, it was a huge event, he asked all us, he said, "What if your plan for your life wasn't as good as it could be? What if you surrendered to God and you said, 'God, use me'? Imagine how your life would change. All of you who are willing to say 'God, use me' and surrender your plan to God, come up here to the front."
And there's probably probably 300, 400 people in this room. And about 150 of them all literally went, "Yeeeeah" and went running up to the front. Y'know, like, really thrilled, 'cause either they've done these workshops before or they just know the principle. Then there were about another 100 people who were like [adopts a sarcastic huffy, grouchy voice], "Well, I'm not surrendering. No. I've got my plans and ..."
I was in the group that was somewhere in between. Like, there was the part of me that wanted to look as joy-filled as those people and I fully trusted Chuck and the processes of the work. But there was another part of me that was going, "No. No. I'm supposed to be a singer/songwriter. I'm supposed to, I know I've walked away from acting, this is what I'm going to do, I'm going to go around the world and use my voice to give back to the music that saved my life, music that might help other people feel, celebrate, expand."
But I did walk forward, 'cause at that point I was all about "Just feel the fear, do it anyway. Go for things that move you out of your comfort zone." That was what I was doing in my life a lot. And lo and behold, unbeknownst to me for many many years, it was four months after that day that I did my very first channeled reading for a member of the public. All very unexpectedly and that just started what has become a 15 year journey working in the transformation field.

You'll note Harris calls Chuck Spezzano a "psychologist." Like most of those who grant this occupational title to Chuck without investigation, I'm sure he didn't know he was spreading a falsehood that seems to be echoed mostly in Europe. We are especially interested why so many who were clients of POV come away believing Chuck is really a professional psychologist, sometimes he is even called a "clinical psychologist." Who told them these lies?
Spezzano's 1977 Ph.D. was apparently in something exotic called "Professional Psychology" and unique to his now extinct school. One could argue it was about one notch up from a mail-order degree. It was not accredited by the APA, which means his diploma bypassed any sort of national standard. Even in Europe this should disqualify him from being called a "psychologist." Both of the Spezzanos are on record saying Chuck is not a "psychologist."
In addition, Spezzano was fined by the State of Hawaii in 2004 for impersonating a professional, around the same year Harris' POV story takes place. Chuck is not licensed and is not even remotely qualified to practice professional psychology even if he applied. He has NEVER worked as a licensed "psychologist" or published any research in peer-reviewed journals that we can locate. His credentials have been inflated and falsified for decades, starting with his own newspaper advertisements in the 1980s.
