As Nutty as a Fruitcake

Those of us with English as a first language have a saying we use to describe a person who is not well-grounded: "As nutty as a fruitcake." Perhaps there are variations in other languages.

This morning as I typed in the search term "Chuck Spezzano" in Google one of the top results was a German language recipe for-- fruitcake!

Go figure.
