SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome)
SARS is a viral respiratory illness caused by the SARS-associated coronavirus. Symptoms of SARS begin with a high fever, usually followed by headache, overall feelings of discomfort, body aches and mild respiratory symptoms, which include a dry cough. Some SARS patients develop diarrhea and most develop pneumonia. Developing SARS shows us that we are at war with ourselves because we are unwilling to step forward to a new level and embrace a new energy in our lives. We are at a crossroads and are being invited to a new level of success, recognition, enjoyment and expansion. We feel overwhelmed and frightened by this opportunity, and it makes us feel as if we are not in control of our life. Our fear that we are not capable of coping with the new level leads us to turn the situation into one of life or death. Our control and routine are stifling us and we are not letting the new level of life in. The answer here is to trust, surrender and to integrate the part that feels like it is not enough with the part that wants to move forward. We are asked to move forward and ‘take our place’ at a vision level by living our purpose.
