In his book Ho'oponopono and Family Constellations, the author Ulrich E. Duprée refers to Chuck Spezzano as "the American psychologist."

Duprée apparently did not do his homework on Spezzano, which should make the reader question the rest of his research.
Yet again I need to point out that Spezzano's 1977 Ph.D. was apparently
in something exotic called "Professional Psychology." It was not
accredited by the APA, which means his diploma bypassed any sort of
national standard. Chuck Spezzano is not even within a throw of a stone of being a "psychologist." My cat is as qualified as Chuck is to call himself a psychologist. Maybe more so.
In addition, Spezzano was fined by the State of Hawaii in 2004 for
impersonating a professional. He is not licensed and is not even
remotely qualified to practice professional psychology even if he
