This biography of Chuck Spezzano, which seems to mirror the official corporate line of the for-profit Spezzano and Associates, Ltd., brings up a few questions that Lotta Gaber, the author if this narrative, apparently did not research.
Is Chuck Spezzano's Ph.D. actually in "Counseling Psychology"? That his degree was unaccredited by the APA is beyond debate, but the name of the actual award is questionable. Some sources claim his degree is in "Clinical Psychology," but his actual thesis says "Professional Psychology," which isn't really a universally recognized degree in the profession. So what gives?

His work in the Navy could not have been as a "psychologist" as we understand the term now. He was apparently never licensed in California as a "psychologist" and didn't get his Ph.D. until 1977, so how could he be a "psychologist" from 1973-1979?

Spezzano's association with ARAS and Bob Trask came to an abrupt end. Perhaps someone in POV would like to address the reason why.
I note that Spezzano's 1980 stint as a touring psychic is not mentioned in this biography, as well as his authorship of the Healing Metaphors A-Z.
