Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
ALS is a syndrome marked by muscle weakness and atrophy. This disease is caused by the degeneration of nervous tissue in the brain and spinal cord, and it results in progressive muscle weakness. It means that we believe we are not strong enough to do what we came to do here on earth. The belief in our weakness in the face of our purpose comes from fear, guilt, rebellion or sacrifice as a form of resistance. We have the mistaken belief that we have to accomplish our purpose all on our own, which, of course, would prove to be too much for us. If we ask for help to achieve our purpose then our body will not feel the strain of going it alone.
