Chuck Spezzano was recently interviewed by Birgit Böttcher as part of the 2019 Liebeskummer-Onlinekongress which features interviews with several spiritual capitalists. Most of them, including Spezzano, are in the B-film not-Oprah-worthy category of the New Age market.

I have probably watched more of Chuck's videos than the majority of his followers, and I know his usual tired decades-old stump speech when I hear it, but this one has a few subtle differences I would like to point out.

This hour and ten minute interview, entirely in English, starts off with Birgit telling us Spezzano has a Ph.D. in Psychology, and Chuck jumps in to qualify it is in "Counseling Psychology." And when she says to Spezzano, "You did a lot psychologic research," he simply nods modestly. He adds that he has been at this game since 1972.
Also, on the Liebeskummer-Onlinekongress website, Spezzano is described thusly: "Chuck Spezzano Autor, Speaker, Psychologe und Erfinder der therapeutischen Heilmethode „Psychologie der Vision“." [Update Sept. 5, 2019: The "Psychologe" reference has been quickly removed. Bravo!]
To say he has been at this since 1972 is really stretching it a bit, but we'll let that go. The rest of the claimed credentials really need to be challenged and Birgit has been played for a sucker, just like the rest of the POV victims.
Falsifying Chuck Spezzano's credentials in
marketing seems to be the rule rather than exception, especially in
European merchandising of POV literature and events. The Spezzanos have
allowed this to spread-- much to their economic advantage. Sitting by
and passively letting these falsehoods become so widespread year after
year to their financial benefit is ultimately the responsibility of
Chuck and Lency Spezzano.
Spezzano's 1977 Ph.D. was apparently in something exotic called
"Professional Psychology" (NOT in "Counseling Psychology") and seems to be peculiar to the now extinct
school he attended. It was not accredited by the APA, which means his
diploma bypassed any sort of national standard. Even in Europe this
should disqualify him from being called a "psychologist." Both of the
Spezzanos are on record saying Chuck is not a "psychologist."
In addition, Spezzano was fined by the State of Hawaii in 2004 for
impersonating a professional. He is not licensed and is not even
remotely qualified to practice professional psychology even if he
applied. He has NEVER worked as a licensed "psychologist" or published
any research in peer-reviewed journals that we can locate. His
credentials have been inflated and falsified for decades, starting with
his own newspaper advertisements in the 1980s. Here are some links to
some primary sources of interest so you can see the evidence:

Now, with that out of the way, back to the video:
Within the first 90 seconds Spezzano makes a sex joke as usual, and later on he imitates a crossed-eyed Samurai. Sensitivity personified.
Most of the video is the same old mantra he goes through with every filmed presentation, just like an animatronic figure in Disney's Hall of Charlatans. Y'know, ACIM, past lives, "soul patterns," guilt. Mr. I-charge-$1100-an-hour-for-personal-consultations has the nerve to talk about the "highest levels of spirituality."
Chuck personally knows what God and Heaven want for us. Isn't that special?
But Birgit, although friendly, does press Spezzano to clarify some of his generalizations. Most interviewers just sit there with a fake smile pasted on their face and allow him to advertise himself unedited. But Birgit wanted the specifics behind Chuck's rote refrigerator-magnet sayings and you can tell this narcissistic "Master" does NOT like being questioned.
The more she asked the more his voice and tone became excited and agitated. After a few minutes of this he struck back and countered with several questions for her, revealing to the rest of us what a bully he is under the guise of "therapy." Once he regained dominance then the interview continued as normal. What a jerk. Imagine what would happen if a real investigative journalist cornered him.
At the end Birgit and Chuck had a brief marketing and business shop talk which Spezzano probably thought would be edited out. It is, after all, all about the money.
