Haida Health Hub : Visioning for Optimal Health & Wellness for all First Nation Residents of Haida Gwaii : Community Feedback Questionnaire Results / prepared by Patricia Greer, May 2011.
Some of the comments (particularly around p. 28-33) reflect the divisive and destructive impact on the island by the presence of two groups even though they are not named: Psychology of Vision, and the Erick Gonzalez "Spirit Jaguar" cult. The continued existence of these two groups on the island traces primarily to Babs Stevens, a public official with some influence (also she is a POV trainer) with strong ties to each.
Since POV is an American for-profit corporation and not a religion Babs cannot use freedom of religion as a defense in the course of being critically questioned while protecting and promoting POV interests. Because profit is the chief goal of the corporation, it would be fair to say Babs should be viewed as a lobbyist for outside private commercial interests.
Although POV likes to claim they never charge First Nations for events, a quick tour through the documents I have collected prove otherwise.
For those of you who read German, Section K of their Trainer's Manual demonstrates how POV targets FN:
