Poliovirus
Poliovirus is a worldwide virus that causes poliomyelitis. Poliomyelitis is an inflammation of the gray matter in the spinal chord. Paralysis and weakness of muscles may or may not occur as a result of this infection. We have developed a fear of self-expression as a result of a vicious cycle of inferiority and superiority. We are caught in a conflict between wanting to be out there expressing our true self and our feelings of inadequacy. We are afraid to step up and step out.
