Guru Chuck

Internet abounds with descriptions of Chuck Spezzano as a "guru," which makes his Jan. 7, 2016 Card of the Day come across like retail marketing:

"THE GURU (ARCHETYPE) is the card for today. It signifies the spiritual leader in you that is available for you to be a bridge between Heaven and earth. The GURU is a conduit of grace and Heaven's Love for us. Today let us embrace the inner GURU and recognize the outer GURUS as expression of what is within us. Have an amazing day!!"

So, in poking around Facebook I did find two more interesting sources for Spezzano's "guru" status that I had been previously unaware of.

First, I was amazed to find that an organization called the Neuromerchandising Group actually exists, but not so amazed to see they call Spezzano "our leadership guru." That makes total sense.

Second, and not so surprising, psychic and coach Michael Day calls Spezzano his "guru" several times with some intriguing comments on the commercial aspects of New Age business enterprises.

It all comes down to money, doesn't it?

Chuck is just a guy, not a guru. There is nothing about him that is different than anyone else except he more obsessed with getting attention and money. He certainly has no greater connection with God or a higher power than the next person. If Chuck is a guru, then everyone is a guru.
