NLP, EFT, Hypnosis, and Chuck Spezzano the "Psychotherapist"

René Marx highlights the connection between NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), hypnosis, and Chuck Spezzano's methods. All of these are in the pseudoscience arena. Spezzano has also been embellished with the title of "psychotherapist" here.

Mind altering techniques are a staple in Psychology of Vision. The use of hypnosis is disguised as "joining" as demonstrated by the Spezzanos in several posts on this blog. I would submit to the reader that gift-wrapping hypnosis under some other guise is basically unethical. As Jeremy Marchant, a big hypnosis fan, pointed out Chuck Spezzano won't reveal his methods to the client unless they ask. And why not? That sounds pretty paternalistic, not transparent, to me.

Want to surrender your personal power and drain your savings to feed a bloated parasite tick known by the initials of Chuck Spezzano? Then by all means degrade yourself and sign up for Psychology of Vision, the corporation known as the spider web where gullible gnats are ensnared into a trap of lies. POV will feed on your guilt, and then after tearing you down and making feel like a piece of shit, they'll offer you a surrogate family where unicorns jump over rainbows.

Chuck Spezzano is not a psychologist and can never be one. Those of you who bought into this POV crap have been taken for a ride. POV is a grifter's game. Not one single person involved with this for-profit corporation is professionally qualified to provide psychological treatment, including Chuck Spezzano himself. Psychology of Vision is just a big scam.
