Alcohol is one of the MAJOR contributors to family dysfunction. Obviously Psychology of Vision does not value the quality of being clean and sober. Alcohol use is particularly damaging to First Nations, a POV target group: http://www.canada.com/health/First+Nations+must+find+ways+curb+alcohol/2120297/story.html
Most of the European images appear to be business dinners judging by the individuals in the photos (e.g. Django and Beat), where no no doubt financial matters and merchandising were discussed.

I don't think Chuck misses many meals.
