I strongly suspect both Chuck and Lency Spezzano use their training and experience in hypnosis as a way of manipulating people and making them pliable followers, but like the other cult leaders used as examples in this article, they seem to disguise this activity under different names such as "embedded commands," NLP, "joining," "past life regression," "Deeksha blessing," or "Oneness blessing."
It is telling that many New Age hypnotherapists cite Psychology of Vision as part of their training.
Hawaii is behind other states in regulating the misuse of hypnotherapy.

The subterfuge and outright lying used by the POV leadership is truly staggering.
Hawaii needs to enact some hypnotherapy regulations as they exist in other states. In several other jurisdictions in the USA what Lency is doing would probably land her in court.
