Classifying Psychology of Vision as a "cult" is rather broad. It could easily be classified as a personality cult, but I prefer to think of it in a more exact term as a "dangerous group."
We are splitting hairs here. This is like asking who was worse, Hitler or Stalin or Mao? No matter how you define or flavorize evil, it is still evil.
If being a sociopath can be equated with evil, then there is plenty of evil behavior in POV. The shameless self-promotion, the lack of accepting responsibility, the outright lies, efforts to delete the past and rewrite history, attempting to bully the critics, leaving a trail of victims, posing as professional mental and emotional health experts with no legal credentials or respected academic training (i.e. fraud), blaming victims of birth defects for their maladies because of something they did in a past life-- not exactly a stellar legacy.
Whatever you want to call Psychology of Vision, it all boils down to being about the money. The profit margin is the true POV incentive.
