Honolulu Star Advertiser Describes Chuck Spezzano as a "Psychologist"

In this article about the Hawaii Forgiveness Project (a Michael North connection here), Chuck Spezzano is included among the three "Heroes" and is inaccurately described as a "psychologist." Looks like the reporter didn't do any homework on Spezzano for this one. Selections from July 28, 2012.

Rather than investigating the entire questionable Spezzano Psychology of Vision operation as one would like to see from a major newspaper, this one simply spreads the very kind of misinformation that Spezzano profits from.

The Honolulu media, print or electronic, mainstream or alternative, has never taken a serious critical look at POV as far as I can tell. If anything, they could be considered an extension of the Spezzano publicity machine, perpetuating the fabrication that he is a "psychologist." Pretty gutless.

Well, maybe they don't want to step on toes or make waves. Chuck is a member of the Honolulu business community after all and this newspaper relies on advertising. Heck, the word "Advertiser" is part of their name! Not "News," but "Advertiser." That pretty much sums up what they are about. Pretty namby-pamby but that's the mainstream media in action-- or inaction.

Michael North was probably the source for spreading the "Chuck-is-a-psychologist" fairy tale to the press in this case.
