Autoimmune Disease
Autoimmune disease shows that our body has lost its ability to distinguish between normal and foreign substances. Usually our immune systems produce antibodies to fight off foreign agents; however, with autoimmune disease, our body mistakes itself as the foreign substance and attacks itself. Any autoimmune disease reflects judgment, self-rejection and self-attack. This illness demonstrates a major conflict within, which may also include a conflict with another interpersonally. This illness represents a place of heartbreak and defeat in our life that may be past or present.
