Exploiting a Very Specific Niche Market

"Start-Ups : Angels to the Rescue" by Tamsin Bishton appeared in Marketing Magazine (UK) Sept. 1, 2002. Part of the article covered the online Innersense Game and interviewed Garret Delcourt, who was assigned to the development of the project.

The "angel investor" was Paul Manweiler who at one time was a consultant for Psychology of Vision. According to other news accounts Manweiler sunk over half a million pounds into the concept.

The final product sounds like it was a high-production and complex creation. Wish I could have seen it just from a technical viewpoint. The esoteric New Age niche market is pretty crowded and the kind of high overhead in the expense of making the Innersense Game a reality doomed it from the start as a viable profit-maker.
