The website Aeclectic Tarot has a lengthy review of one of Chuck Spezzano's tarot-like cardsets. In their introduction it is stated, "The Enlightenment Pack was created by psychologist Chuck Spezzano."

Chuck Spezzano is not a psychologist.
It is in the interests of the Spezzanos, the marketers, and even the consumers to encourage this myth that Chuck Spezzano is a psychologist. The lie helps sell the product, boosting profits, and the buyer feels like this New Age merchandise has some sort of legitimate connection to the science community.
