Chuck Spezzano is one of the World's Leading "Psychologists"

This page appeared on the POV sanctioned povevents.com website. It was taken down in December 2014.

Chuck Spezzano is not a psychologist and he has never been licensed as such. His Ph.D. was not professionally accredited, bypassing national standards.

This post violates Spezzano's 2004 court conviction by the State of Hawaii that states if  Spezzano or his minions (in this specific case a POV trainer, Avril Woodward) falsely market him as a professional "psychologist" then he must be hauled back into court.

Lency Spezzano claims they do not control the marketing by their trainers or advertisers, but each time the lie is repeated that Spezzano is a "psychologist" he falls deeper into legal jeopardy. Not exactly a business or ethical model to emulate.

Psychology of Vision is built on a foundation of lies. Do not place any trust in this modern snake oil con game run by two old grifters. Please take some time to explore our blog and gather the documented facts before investing yourself into their expensive scam.

I wonder if Chuck has ever met any other " world leading psychologists"? Are other world leading psychologists who are licensed and accredited saying "Chuck is a world leading psychologist?". Maybe it's time that world leading psychologists are made aware that they have company bragging about being with them but actually have no credentials to say so. Impostors need to be revealed so that the public can be reassured about who is real and who is fake!

Chuck Spezzano is NOT a psychologist. This POV generated claim is an outright lie.

"Lies can be put on just one blog, and they get shared and re-shared by people looking for material for their own blogs, which then gets shared again and again and again, running up the number of “hits” of viewers. They all feed off of each other for new content to stay competitive."--Lency Spezzano

Chuck does not say psychology is a hoax, he says it is the fastest of the slow ways to healing. He also says that people can use psychology as a way of "analysing" (or avoiding) our creative thinking. You have been called a lot of names by a lot of people by the way! If you are telling the truth... hopefully that was within your criteria for "reasonable"?

Thank you for your comment.

Are you saying former trainer Julian Ticehurst did not accurately describe what Chuck himself said? Please see:

https://psychologyofvision.blogspot.com/2016/10/even-chuck-himself-says-that-his.html

Also, do you feel it is honest business ethics to market Chuck as a "psychologist" when he has never been an APA-accredited or licensed professional psychologist?

Chuck Spezzano in the Nightlight Newsletter June 2002-
"I have been known to say that therapy is a hoax. This is because we are trying to heal a past that never was. Even if the past were true, and not just our experience and perception (which we use to serve some purpose and ego strategy), it is still the past, and only has the effect on us that we desire. We use our past and our stories about the past either for humor and blessings, or for present excuses and indulgences. Therapy is a hoax, but it is a happy one, relieving us of how we use the past with its fear, pain, and guilt for a certain purpose, all of which impede us. We can use healing to get on with our lives or we can get on with our lives and that will heal us."

Another source on the "hoax" concept. Also notice Spezzano claims he once worked as a "psychologist," a statement not supported by any evidence:

Question: You said yesterday: Psychology is a hoax, and that psychology is the fastest of the slow methods. What did you mean?

Chuck Spezzano: Psychology is mainly concerned with the past. But the past is over! Psychology has lost its way. There are still many individual therapists who know the way. Psychology is the doctrine of the psyche, the soul, but psychology nowadays studies rats and worms. They try to reduce the human structure to behaviors and symptoms. She makes everything very inhumane. It is a model of science from the last century. Every other science has evolved except psychology. Here in Europe, where existential phenomenology and humanistic psychology come from, there is a stronger movement forward. For me psychology must be practical. For both spiritual and psychological disciplines, if it does not practically help people grow, if it's not effective, it's just an idea. When I worked as a psychologist, I quasi threw religion overboard because it just seemed too restrictive to me. But when I started working with people, I was very interested in medial and shamanic methods. The deeper I went, the more spiritual elements emerged. I discovered that it is not only a necessary, but the strongest part in man.

Why put so much energy into discrediting others when you might add more value in general by figuring out how to be supportive of your own passions and goals? (Or, more basically, what have the Spezzano's done to you? Tangible evidence of the harm they appear to have caused you would be useful.)
