The Restoration of Passion

The Oct. 16-27, 2017 Psychology of Vision Apprenticeship entitled "The Restoration of Passion" struck me as a bit unusual compared with others in this annual event.

For openers, it seems as if the "seminar" was not filled to capacity, a situation we are seeing with increasing frequency for POV events as the cult continues to sharply decline. It was held in a hotel rather than the normal apprenticeship venue of the Spezzano "barn."

Also, I could be mistaken, but there seemed to be an especially high number of POV trainers present among the seekers. The trainers are in reality commercial franchise holders with a big economic stake in the corporation. Around one third of the current trainers were present at this soiree, no doubt in an effort to intensify the recruiting efforts of converting more new people (and their wallets) into the fold.

These trainers will return in a few months for the "trainers training," where they will drop even more thousands of dollars into the Spezzano bank account. Only those with comfortable incomes need apply for this cult. Check out the fees below.

Needless to say, a POV certificate carries no professional or legal weight. Neither one of the Spezzanos are licensed in the field of healing or health, nor are they qualified to be professional psychologists and as such are not accountable to any consumer safety oversight. Basically, Psychology of Vision is one very expensive scam, a money machine designed to enrich the Spezzanos.

The POV inner clique members, those who reside at a higher point in the steep commercial hierarchy, present at "The Restoration of Passion": Emiko Takano, Naoko Sakuraba, Mami Yoshida, Torsten Konrad, Bernadette Demens, Chuck Spezzano, Lency Spezzano, Hiromi Kurihara, Mina Yamato

By my count there were about 30 participants (trainers included in that tally) which is a considerable dip in numbers compared to these kind of events in the past.

The use of the term "apprenticeship" is very interesting. It suggests an occupational meaning, where clients who manage to dish out the big bucks and climb to this particular level of the steep POV pyramid apparently have designs of creating their own coaching scam. This is a school for frauds, a corporate business franchise not a healing institution.

I note Spezzanos are holding fewer events at their compound and are instead using local meeting places. I would think this would increase their overhead. Are they going through a remodel or something at the POV HQ or have they exceeded the number of meetings at the compound as allowed by their neighborhood association?
