Healing Metaphors A-Z - Viral infections

Viral infections
Viruses are minute, incomplete organisms, which infect us and use our cells for their survival. Infection by a virus means that our battle has to do with a part of ourselves that we believe is missing and are trying to get from the world while, conversely, we act independently to hide our needs. This conflict reinforces our ego at the expense of our spiritual identity and heritage.

This definition of Viral Infections, if you believe such nonsense, could also apply to defining Psychology of Vision itself and how the POV corporation infects people and cultures.

So, according to this logic, if you are in touch with your "spiritual identity and heritage" then you are immune from the effects of coronavirus during this pandemic? And if you do contract the virus, then obviously something is wrong with you? Am I missing something? Clarification needed here. Also, this reads like a Louise Hay ripoff.
