Healing Metaphors A-Z - Sciatica

Sciatica
Sciatica is severe pain running the course of the sciatic nerve. It runs from the top of the thigh all the way down the leg. Sciatica is caused by compression of, or trauma to, the sciatic nerve or its root. There is some issue that is making us feel sad. We are scared of change because we feel unsupported, weak and without foundation in our life; we therefore feel that we have nothing to build on. We have an unwillingness to fully engage with life that has been built on a general feeling of inadequacy.

Have Spezzano and Ticehurst ever given serious thought to how people who suffer from this malady must feel after reading their cruel and flippant "metaphor"?
