Healing Metaphors A-Z - Cholesterol – High

Cholesterol – High
A high blood cholesterol level means that the circulating cholesterol, (lipid), in our blood is too high. This can cause fatty deposits in our blood vessels, which may lead to coronary artery disease and stroke. High blood cholesterol indicates that we are caught in an indulgent compensation for the amount of sacrifice we are in. This is the result of a loss from the past that we have not recovered from. It has thrown us into roles and sacrifice. If it is a family condition, then it is possibly an ancestral issue that has been passed down through the family. The compensation may be in the form of hard work or a lifestyle of sacrifice. There will be an indulgence of some kind, physically or emotionally, that we use to compensate for the stress that we have to deal with. We have become trapped in a vicious circle of sacrifice and indulgence.

Spezzano's metaphors qualify as a form of emotional abuse, where the victim is to blame and must be shamed. This gives you an indication of what is in store for you if you sign up for Psychology of Vision or "Steps to Leadership."

The whole metaphor concept here has been swiped from Louis Hay, in some cases to the point of plagiarism. Not only is POV a form of abuse, it is never original. Everything they market has been lifted from someone else.
