Healing Metaphors A-Z - Bronchitis

Bronchitis
Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes in the lungs, usually due to infection. This inflammation is the result of a split mind; we are caught between the desire to step forward and the desire to hold on. We have an attachment to the past, but in spite of this we still attempt to move forward. Our indecision causes us to feel both loss and fear as we try and push into the future, though this is typically dissociated. We are still striving to go forward by willpower and determination alone, rather than by clearing, letting go, mourning or healing unresolved loss from the past.

Another trite yet cruel metaphor from the King of Crapola.
