I like the graphic. I wonder if they had permission to use it or if they just swiped it, like they usually do with most things (Rasha, Uniform Motion, etc.)
It is one of the most effective graphics used by POV, quite beautiful and visually arresting. Like you say, did the artist know about this, and if so, did he or she realize what sort of sick and twisted organization their work was promoting?
POV is in the business of stealing ideas, music, graphics and other creative, original ideas from others-- usually without attribution-- and repackaging it as their own invention. If you read the Facebook posts of the POV crowd they are filled with memes, fads, graphic images swiped from elsewhere. There is no discussion of original ideas. It is all regurgitation.
