Here is a selection from the article "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" by writer Jenny Morris in 2003. She describes "Chuck Spezzano, a US psychologist, who wears loud Hawaiian shirts" in this piece, perpetuating the myth that Spezzano is actually a psychologist.

The media is especially bad about not investigating Spezzano's background.

Chuck Spezzano is not a psychologist.
